At Roofora ("we", "our", or "us"), accessible via our mobile application and web platform, protecting the privacy of our users is a top priority. This Privacy Policy document explains what types of personal information are collected and recorded by Roofora and how we use it in full compliance with Google Play Store Developer Policies.

1 Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering on the App, creating property listings, or interacting with our services:

Account & Contact Data: Name, Email Address, Phone Number, Profile Photo, and Address.
Location Data (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Precise or approximate location data to auto-detect your city/locality, display nearby rental properties, show distance estimates, and map property coordinates. Location access is requested in-app with explicit disclosure.
Property Listings & Media: Property details, descriptions, prices, rental specifications, and property images uploaded by owners/agents via Cloudinary.
Device & Usage Data: Device model, OS version, push notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging - FCM) for instant alerts.

2 How We Use Your Information

To facilitate real estate search, rental space bookings, and property listings.
To display nearby property listings based on your location.
To enable direct communication between property buyers/renters and property owners.
To send push notifications regarding new leads, property updates, and account status.
To prevent fraudulent activity and maintain a secure real estate ecosystem.

3 Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party service providers to power key features of Roofora:

Firebase (Google LLC): Used for secure authentication, Firestore database, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). Google Privacy Policy.
Cloudinary: Used for secure cloud image storage and optimization for property photos.
OpenStreetMap (OSMDroid): Used for rendering interactive map interfaces.

4 Data Retention & Account Deletion Policy

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active. You have full right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

Request Account Deletion: You can submit an online request for permanent deletion of your account, listed properties, and profile data by visiting our Account Deletion Request Page or inside the Roofora App under Profile Settings.

5 Children's Privacy

Roofora is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately for removal.
